• Our client came into our office and reported a domestic violence incident to us. Within 48 hours we successfully obtained a court order giving our client sole legal and physical custody of her child with no visitation to her ex/father of her child and a domestic violence restraining order preventing him from coming within 100 yards of our client.
• Before seeking representation by Morgan Law Firm, our client was ordered to pay spousal support in the amount of $4,000 per month.  Our firm prepared a motion to lower the payment amounts, and succeeded in lowering the spousal support amount to $0.
• The opposing party in a family law matter filed an Ex Parte Request to freeze our client's bank account.  Morgan Law Firm successfully opposed the Request, which was summarily denied.
• The opposing party filed a motion requesting to raise the amount of our client's child support payments.  Morgan Law Firm prepared opposition papers, and succeeded in actually lowering our client's child support payments by $300 per month; our client was then credited with $1,500 in retroactivity payments.
• The opposing party filed papers requesting $1,000 per month in child support payments from our client.  Morgan Law Firm responded with papers opposing that amount, and succeeded in obtaining an order that required our client to pay only $300 per month.
• The opposing party filed a motion requesting to set aside a prior child custody and visitation order that was favorable to our client.  Morgan Law Firm opposed the request and sought to maintain the existing favorable custody and visitation order.  The court denied the opposing party's motion and the existing favorable order remain in effect.
• Our client was served with a Request for Domestic Violence Restraining Order.  In response, Morgan Law Firm filed an Answer denying the allegations in the opposing party's Request for Domestic Violence Restraining Order.  Morgan Law Firm then filed its own Request for Domestic Violence Restraining Order on behalf of our client against the opposing party.  The court found in favor of our client, and denied the opposing party's Request, while granting our client's Request.  
• Our criminal defense client was charged with a felony robbery.  Morgan Law Firm successfully defended the client, obtaining a case dismissal.
• Our client was charged with a felony DUI (driving under the influence) offense.  The offense involved injuries, which increased the potential criminal penalties.  Morgan Law Firm successfully defended the client, obtaining a case dismissal.
• Our client was previously represented by other defense counsel and convicted of felony murder, mandating a life sentence without the possibility of parole.  Morgan Law Firm filed a motion for a new trial, which was granted and subsequently upheld on appeal in a published opinion (People v. Callahan (2004) 124 Cal. App. 4th 198).  Subsequently, Morgan Law Firm obtained an agreement reducing the conviction to voluntary manslaughter with a nine year sentence.
• Our client was convicted of second degree murder for the killing of her abusive husband and received a sentence of 15 years to life.  Morgan Law Firm obtained a Compassionate Release from the Department of Corrections, and our client was released after 18 years of incarceration. 
• Our client, the former wife of the President of the Hell's Angels, was charged with a drug offense, and the trial court set her bail at $1 million.  Morgan Law Firm filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus with the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, which the Court granted, ruling the bail amount to be excessive.
